Teacher of Art

We are looking for a fabulous experienced or newly qualified Teacher of Art who has a deep passion for creativity in drawing, painting and design to join our high performing team at Unsworth Academy. The Arts department comprises three Art/Photography teachers, one Drama teacher and one Music teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and develop a world‑class curriculum and add learner opportunities to it.
  • Collaborate with the other Arts and Creative & Performing Arts staff to support productions, enrichment activities and cross‑departmental initiatives that enhance the Academy’s cultural life.
  • Continuously improve teaching practice and contribute to the cultural impact of the Arts through all aspects of learner experience.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong subject skills and knowledge in Art.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement of curriculum and teaching practice.
