We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Geography to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave vacancy. You may be a new or experienced teacher but will certainly have a determination to be an outstanding practitioner. We are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about Geography and ready to be committed to joining this high performing team. You must be driven to continuously improve, be an excellent team participant and have very strong subject knowledge.
Unsworth Academy is a thriving, oversubscribed, co-educational and non-selective Bury high school. The school is on an incredibly exciting journey of school improvement. Our latest Ofsted report, in April 2025 was glowing and indicative of an outstanding judgement were it to have been a graded inspection.
