Join the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in a Teaching and Research role.

About You
You are an emerging or established academic with expertise in database systems and a passion for both research and teaching.
You will have the ability to contribute to high‑quality research outcomes while delivering engaging and innovative learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
At Lecturer level (Level B), you will be developing your research profile and contributing to collaborative research activities, including competitive grant applications and scholarly publications, while also delivering high-quality teaching and supporting student learning across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
At Senior Lecturer level (Level C), you will demonstrate an established research track record with evidence of research leadership, success in securing competitive funding, supervising HDR students, and making significant independent contributions to your field.
You will also contribute to educational leadership through high-quality teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring students and colleagues.
You are an engaging educator with experience in delivering high‑quality teaching and contributing to curriculum development.
You are collaborative, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to a high-performing academic environment and to build strong relationships across academia and industry.

- Lecturer (Level B)
- A Ph D in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
