The Opportunity
Join the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in an Education Focused role. In this role, you will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across Software Engineering, while helping to shape the next generation of software engineering professionals and computing graduates. You will contribute to teaching across Software Engineering disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering engaging learning experiences that prepare students for industry and research careers. You will play a key role in curriculum development, innovative teaching practice, and enhancing the student learning experience across the School.
About You
You are an engaging and passionate educator with expertise in Software Engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences. You bring the ability to contribute to an inclusive and high-performing academic environment while supporting students across a range of Software Engineering disciplines.
- At Lecturer level (Level B), you will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate courses, while continuing to develop your teaching practice and educational innovation capabilities.
- At Senior Lecturer level (Level C), you will demonstrate educational leadership through curriculum innovation, mentoring colleagues, leading teaching initiatives, and contributing to the advancement of teaching excellence across the School and broader UNSW Education Focused community.
