Our team enjoys transforming challenging problems into smart, simple solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join us. Could you be the one?
In this role, you will work on multiple projects in a dynamic environment, primarily performing manual testing. You will collaborate closely with other QA analysts and report to the QA Lead.
Your daily tasks may include writing and executing test scripts, designing test cases and scenarios, and reporting on functional requirements.
You will also create comprehensive site regression test packs, perform regression testing, and raise or triage bugs using Azure DevOps. At the end of each sprint, you will be responsible for delivering all project outputs to the customer and supporting them during the UAT phase.
Experience in the digital sector testing, especially across web, cross-browser, mobile/tablet devices, and CMS platforms (Sitecore, Optimizely, Umbraco, Contentful), is preferred but not mandatory. Exposure to test automation frameworks like Playwright will be a significant advantage.
*This role can be based in Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester, Belfast, London, or Lithuania, with a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing project documentation including designs, wireframes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participating in sprint planning and clarifying requirements.
- Estimating testing efforts for new projects and ongoing work.
- Preparing test plans using DevOps tools.
- Executing and validating test cases based on requirements.
- Raising and triaging bugs via DevOps.
- Creating full site regression packs and performing regression tests.
- Collaborating with the project team to resolve issues.
- Providing updates on testing progress to inform deployment decisions.
- Preparing documentation like release notes for UAT handovers.
- Challenging existing processes to improve quality and testing practices.
- Supporting the QA team and project management to meet deadlines.
You should also have:
- Relevant QA experience, ideally in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Knowledge of web and functional testing, UI testing, cross-browser testing.
- Experience with testing tools such as BrowserStack, Visual Studio, DevOps, and Microsoft Test Manager.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools like Playwright, Ghost Inspector, Selenium, Gherkin, LoadRunner, or Octoperf.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A passion for quality and testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach.
- Flexibility and adaptability in changing requirements.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- An understanding of risk-based testing approaches.
