Join to apply for the User Interface Designer role at UNRVLD. We are looking for an exceptional Product Designer / UI Designer to join our team at UNRVLD to help us create meaningful, beautiful digital products for our clients and their customers. This is a 1-month contract to start immediately with the potential for extension.

As the Product Designer, you will be an integral part of the process of creating business-critical solutions for a wide range of clients and sectors, from working on innovative renewable technology solutions to designing the future of fan engagement with global sports brands. We are an agency that puts customer-centric design at the heart of our process, and our Product Designers are pivotal to this offering. Responsibilities:

  • Generating innovative, conceptual product design work that excites our clients and helps set the vision for the creative approach.
  • Developing plans for site architecture and content.
  • Translating ideas and insights into innovative design concepts, using techniques such as sketching, mood boarding, wireframing, and prototyping to bring these ideas to life.
  • Designing finely-tuned interfaces with strong consideration to responsive UI layout, typography, content, and animation.
  • Shaping design solutions that deliver an excellent customer experience whilst balancing business goals and technical considerations.
  • Engaging positively in design reviews with the team and explaining, discussing, and justifying design decisions, responding constructively and creatively to feedback.
  • Confidently presenting work to clients with clear rationale and enthusiasm around the proposed solution.
  • Demonstrating authority and conviction in the presentation of your work.
  • Supporting senior directors in the execution of both project-based work, new business, and agency tasks.
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of your design work and collaborating with developers to ensure its accurate implementation.
  • Planning and executing user research and testing scenarios that provide actionable insights to aid the design process.
  • Providing detailed handovers to developers, ensuring design files are neatly organised and that user stories are reflective of the design solution.
  • Working collaboratively with the development team to ensure the end product lives up to the proposed design, performing design QA/conformance on staging environments.
  • Supporting the Product Designer Lead and Creative Director in production and review of project estimates.
  • Contributing your voice to the agency practice through sharing inspirational research and ideas for evolving the design process.
  • Keeping on top of software updates and helping to shape and improve design processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • An online portfolio or selection of live projects which can be reviewed, demonstrating experience in product design and versatility in your style and techniques.
  • Experience of working within a digital agency environment or in-house Product Design team.
  • Previous experience of having worked on large scale or complex digital products, either web or native.
  • A base level understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with design software (i.e. Sketch, InVision, Adobe Suite, Keynote).
  • Comfortable with a range of design techniques such as sketching, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Confident in challenging colleagues and clients with research to drive an improved outcome.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team of designers.
  • Demonstrating a strong ability to plan and manage deliverables in line with challenging timescales.
  • Producing work that meets client objectives and is of a consistently high standard.
  • Having a professional attitude - focused, punctual, collaborative, team player.
