To support our team, we are looking for a Deputy Warehouse Manager to start as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
  • Oversee goods-in, stock control, and inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and safety.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support a team of warehouse operatives.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and development of team members.
  • Help manage workloads and ensure efficient use of resources.

Process & Systems

  • Support the implementation and ongoing use of SAP within warehouse operations.
  • Help improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Assist with the transition and setup of a second warehouse location.
  • Ensure accurate data capture and stock integrity within systems.

Performance Management

  • Monitor key operational KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch times, and stock accuracy.
  • Identify areas for improvement and support implementation of solutions.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to maintain high service levels for both trade and consumer customers.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Promote a safe working environment and best practices across the team.

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
  • Experience managing or supporting a small team.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience highly desirable).
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to be involved in day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in a pick/pack environment (trade and/or direct-to-consumer preferred).
