The Role - Product Manager

We're looking for a Product Manager to own and evolve the Nova roadmap - our AI agent that supports employees with clinically grounded, meaningful interactions at the moments that matter most. You'll work hands on with prompt engineering and evaluation, partnering closely with clinical, data and engineering to improve quality, increase utilisation, and ship AI responsibly in a behavioural health context.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the Nova roadmap with support from a Principal Product Manager, translating goals into a clear, prioritised backlog.
  • Write and iterate prompts and conversation design, using strong product writing to improve clarity, empathy, and effectiveness.
  • Set up and run evaluation and testing practices for Nova (qualitative + quantitative), identifying failure modes and improving reliability.
  • Partner daily with clinical and data colleagues to ensure Nova is safe, clinically grounded, and continuously improving.
  • Define success metrics, analyse outcomes, and share learnings through clear updates and thoughtful post mortems.

About You

  • Experience owning a backlog, defining success metrics, and shipping improvements iteratively in a product, product operations, technical project management, or similar role.
  • Background in healthcare or another regulated industry; you bring an appreciation for the rigor, governance, and stakeholder collaboration required to build products responsibly.
  • Hands on experience working with LLM powered products or conversational AI; you understand how prompts work, why they fail, and how to test them systematically.
  • Strong writing skills: you can write clearly, precisely, and empathetically - qualities that are as important for prompt design as they are for product communication.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its application in sensitive domains, with interest in the technical, ethical, and human dimensions of the work.
  • A data driven working style: you define metrics before you ship, analyse results honestly, and write post mortems without spin.
  • Comfort partnering closely with clinical or scientific colleagues: you respect domain expertise, ask good questions, and translate between clinical and product languages.
  • A serious attitude toward AI safety and clinical responsibility: you understand that Nova's outputs have real consequences, and you design and test accordingly.
