Unloq is a hybrid (Birmingham) full-time founding role. We partner with ambitious organisations to design, build and scale AI systems that deliver real results. We are growing fast, tackling frontier problems, and shipping deployments that matter.
We are now hiring a Founding GTM & Sales Manager to build and run the commercial engine alongside our Co-Founder: pipeline management, client nurture, proposals, CRM, and coordination from first qualified conversation to signed contract.
The Role: You will be the first commercial hire, responsible for:
- Nurturing qualified prospects through the sales funnel and helping convert them to paying clients
- Preparing proposals, briefing notes, and client-facing materials for every deal
- Running CRM as a real revenue system: pipeline stages, next steps, close dates, nothing dropped
- Supporting the delivery of paid AI Discovery workshops and pilots (scheduling, notes, research, report drafting)
- Compiling ROI evidence and outcome data that turns pilots into platform contracts
The founder leads strategy and closes deals. An external partner generates outbound pipeline. You sit in the middle: the person who makes sure every opportunity is nurtured, prepared, and moved forward.
What You Will Actually Do:
- Own the prospect nurture journey once leads are qualified: follow-ups, check-ins, relationship building
- Draft professional responses to warm leads and inbound interest
- Prepare briefing notes before every client call (company context, pain points, who’s in the room, talking points)
- Assemble proposals, pitch decks, one-pagers, and case study drafts
- Coordinate stakeholder interviews during Discovery workshops and take detailed notes
- Track pilot milestones and collect Impact Ledger data on expected vs. realised outcomes
- Keep the CRM trusted and current. Run weekly pipeline reporting for the founder.
- Use AI daily for execution research, drafting, summarising, and content at speed.
Who This Is For: You will likely be a strong fit if you:
- Have 3-5+ years in BD, SDR, sales, account management, or a client-facing role at a tech, AI, or B2B SaaS company

- Are comfortable with ambiguity and building from first principles
- Are curious about AI and enterprise technology. You learn fast and hold your own with CTOs.
- Bonus: you have an existing network in IT services, digital transformation, or enterprise AI, and you can bring warm relationships to the table quickly
Dealbreakers: Low AI EQ, sloppy writing, needs daily hand-holding, no interest in the research and coordination that makes deals possible.
