The Role
We’re hiring a Customer Success & Sales Executive to build our pipeline and develop early customer relationships in regulated industries. You’ll be the first person many prospects speak to, running outreach, qualifying opportunities, and setting up high-quality discovery that leads to real commercial conversations. In our world, sales and customer success are closely linked, so you’ll support the Growth team with these relationships as they develop.
What you’ll do:
- Build and qualify a pipeline across regulated sectors (banking, insurance, accountancy and more).
- Research target accounts and run personalised outreach via email, LinkedIn and direct conversations.
- Book and run discovery calls, diagnosing problems and mapping them to UnlikelyAI’s value.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and keep accounts warm as they develop.
- Share market/customer insights with the team to sharpen messaging, ICP and GTM.
- Track what’s working in the CRM and iterate on messaging and targeting.
What we’re looking for:
- 6–12 months in B2B sales, SDR/BDR, customer success or a similar new-business role.
- Confident speaking with senior stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Curious, proactive and comfortable in ambiguity.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. You turn rejection into momentum.
- Organised and metrics-aware, able to run your pipeline in tools like HubSpot/Sales Navigator.
Nice to have:
- Industry Knowledge: Experience selling into financial services, accountancy, and insurance sectors.
- Technical Understanding: An interest and understanding of AI, automation, or enterprise technology.
What’s in it for You:
- Joining UnlikelyAI means working on technology that pushes boundaries while shaping your career.
- Collaborate with a passionate, world-class team at the intersection of AI research, engineering, and commercial growth.
- Grow your career in an environment that rewards curiosity, experimentation, and initiative.
- Learn directly from senior sales leaders and executives while contributing to meaningful business impact.
- Be part of a company building truly explainable and trustworthy AI for real-world, high-stakes use cases.
How to apply:
- Apply with your CV and a short sample outreach email - This should show how you’d approach a potential customer. We’re looking for judgement, clarity, and tone.
- Short Pitch Video - If your application looks like a good fit, we’ll ask you to record a short Loom introducing yourself and walking us through how you’d approach a prospect.
- Interview with the Hiring Manager - to go deeper on experience, judgement, and role fit followed by a short task.
- Final Onsite Interview - focused on how you’d work day to day with the team.

- Office in Bloomsbury, five minutes from Tottenham Court Road and Holborn stations.
- Free team lunches every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Optional social and extra-curricular activities throughout the year.
- Annual offsite, usually to an international location, where we can work and socialise in the sun.
