To support our rapid commercial expansion, we’re seeking an experienced Front-End focused Software Engineer to join our exceptional team on a short-term contract (2 months). This is a hands‑on, delivery-focused role ideal for an engineer who can quickly contribute to high‑impact customer and internal projects.
You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, research scientists, and research engineers to deliver robust, production‑grade solutions in a fast‑moving environment. We’re looking for someone who can navigate ambiguity, work autonomously, and thrive in a setting where priorities evolve quickly.
Our ways of working are dynamic and project‑based, with small teams formed and re‑formed to meet emerging priorities. We move fast and value tangible output over process, so this role will suit someone who enjoys autonomy and variety.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement high‑quality, maintainable code across frontend and backend systems.
- Translate research prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts into deployable, production‑ready systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to define, refine and deliver technical solutions.
- Contribute to internal tooling, data pipelines, and customer‑facing interfaces.
- Apply strong engineering fundamentals to novel and ambiguous technical challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong computer science fundamentals and a track record of building scalable, production systems.
- Professional experience across full‑stack development, with deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript/React and strong proficiency in Python.
- Proven ability to write clean, testable code and apply sound testing and quality engineering principles.
- Comfort working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and limited specification.
- A proactive, delivery‑oriented mindset – able to make pragmatic decisions and execute quickly.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
