At UnlikelyAI, we are building the future of AI: one that is reliable, accurate and transparent. Our neurosymbolic technology harnesses the power of LLMs and generative AI, and combines it with classical symbolic technology to produce hallucination-resistant artificial intelligence for high-trust applications.

The Principal Product Manager is a senior IC role that stays close to the work. You’ll contribute directly, roll up your sleeves when needed, and lead by doing. You’ll work closely with the executive team to transform our technological advantages and market insights into scalable, repeatable product offerings that can have impact across industries.

This role demands comfort with ambiguity, strong product instinct, and the ability to turn uncertainty into a clear, actionable product vision. As UnlikelyAI grows, you will also build and scale a world-class product function, embedding a culture of clarity, ownership, and impact.

It’s a role that combines strategy, execution, and leadership, offering the opportunity to shape both our long-term direction and the day-to-day practices that drive product excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap in close partnership with leadership.
  • Translate cutting‑edge technology into user‑centric product experiences that deliver real value.
  • Identify and validate scalable opportunities in regulated, risk‑sensitive markets.
  • Act as the “CEO of the product,” ensuring strategic alignment, cross‑functional coordination, and outcome ownership.
  • Establish robust product management practices across prioritisation, planning, validation, release, and iteration.
  • Champion customer insight and product analytics to drive experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Partner with engineering and research to translate innovation into magical products.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10+ years in product leadership roles, ideally in high‑stakes or regulated domains.
  • Proven success creating and driving product strategy in highly ambiguous, evolving environments.
  • Strong technical fluency in AI/ML fundamentals.
  • Track record of launching and scaling impactful enterprise or infrastructure products.
  • Ability to zoom between strategic direction and executional detail.
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills.
  • Analytical, structured thinker with strong communication and judgement.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and impact.

What’s in it for You

  • Join a world‑class, collaborative team with huge ambitions.
  • Shape the foundational layers of AI in a novel neurosymbolic approach.
  • Work on cutting‑edge tech in a creative, fast‑moving environment where your decisions will have real impact.
