Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME): Assessments (SITS)
The IT Student Administration and Engagement Team (ITS) team is responsible for student systems, including the SITS student records system, the Portal (Liferay). The team provide expertise in lifecycle and business functions and managing systems development. The team also provides third line technical support (utilising ServiceNow) and business as usual (BAU) activities.
An opportunity has arisen for a self-starting and motivated Senior Subject Matter Expert: Assessments. The successful candidate will work within the ITS team with responsibility for delivering on assessments functions. This is an existing position which has become vacant, and the successful candidate will join a well-established team collectively specialising in all areas of the student lifecycle.
You will develop and support technologies to deliver the University’s strategic objectives. The role provides an interesting and diverse workload, working on projects and business as usual activities. You will gain in depth knowledge of the student lifecycle and contribute to a wide range of student engagement initiatives, projects, and programme development.
Working with Colleges and Institutions of the federal University leads to a diverse programme offering and methods of delivery. The successful candidate will need be adaptable to the challenges this brings.
We will be operating a hybrid working pattern when you join us. Therefore, we are looking for someone that will flourish in these circumstances and develop and grow their understanding of the business through building virtual connections.
