The Residence Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of one or more University Halls of Residence. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, University procedures, and codes of practice, while overseeing service delivery, budget management, and staff leadership. The role plays a key part in enhancing the student residential experience through a high standard of customer service, operational efficiency, and collaborative team management. You will manage operational duties including health and safety, budget oversight, and facilities management, and work in close collaboration with the Hall Warden, Resident Advisors, and other Residence Managers and the residential services. The role includes participation in an on-call duty rota and may require occasional evening, weekend, or overnight work.
