The University is seeking two new members of its Board of Governors. As a governor, you will build professional networks, collaborate with governors and staff, and build your own professional experience, profile and impact. In return, your skills, experience and broader perspective can add real value to the University achieving its key purpose of positive social impact.

The Board’s role is to approve the University’s strategy and ensure that the University is operated effectively to achieve that strategy. The Board is the steward and trustee of the University’s long-term sustainability and resources.

We are currently seeking skills, knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:

  • Strategic experience in a higher or further education setting
  • Experience in business change, which may include diversification, innovation, and sustainable development across a large and complex organisation
