Enrollment Coordinator - International

The Enrollment Coordinator – International serves as a keymember of Medforth Global Education’s (MGE) Admissions Operations team, responsible for the accurate processing, documentation management, andenrollment-step progression of international applicants.

This role ensurestimely and compliant movement of applicant files from application submissionthrough matriculation readiness by maintaining complete, accurate, andaudit-ready records.

Working collaboratively across functions and departments, the Enrollment Coordinator supports applicant progression by ensuring documentationrequirements are met, enrollment steps are completed, and workflow movementoccurs efficiently and quickly.

This role balances operational processing withstructured team and applicant communication to maintain clarity, responsiveness, and service standards throughout the admissions lifecycle.

All applicant activity and updates are documented in Salesforce to ensure dataintegrity, transparency, and seamless cross-team coordination.

Essential Functions

  • Application, Document & Data Management
  • Facilitatethe daily processing of international applications and supportingdocumentation.
  • Ensureapplicant records, interactions, and enrollment steps are accuratelyrecorded in Salesforce.
  • Liftholds, confirm enrollment-step completion, and verify records in alignmentwith institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintainclean, complete, and audit-ready applicant files prior to advancement inthe admissions workflow.
  • Identifyand correct data discrepancies to ensure accurate file status andreporting.
  • Enrollment Progression Support
  • Provideclear guidance to applicants and deposited students regarding requireddocumentation and enrollment steps.
  • Monitorfile progression to ensure materials are received, processed, and updatedin a timely manner.
  • Respondto applicant inquiries within established service standards (24–48 hours).
  • Escalatedocumentation or workflow concerns to leadership when necessary.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination
  • Serveas an active member of a cross functional and cross departmental team, collaborating to support efficient applicant movement.
  • Participatein applicant reviews and workflow discussions to ensure accurate statusupdates.
  • Coordinatewith International Recruitment, Financial Aid, Registrar, and otherdepartments to support smooth applicant transitions.
  • Operational Accountability
  • Ensureassigned files move efficiently through each stage of the admissions operations process.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate Salesforce records reflecting real-time applicant status.
  • Adhere to processing timelines and internal service standards.
  • Identify operational barriers and communicate them appropriately.
  • Recruitment Communication Alignment & Applicant Status Coordination
  • Maintain close alignment with the International Recruitment team to ensure accurate and timely communication of applicant file status, outstandingrequirements, onboarding needs, and hold resolution.
  • Proactively monitor application and onboarding milestones to identify required follow-up items and communicate updates to Recruitment for applicant outreach.
  • Ensure Recruitment is informed of material status changes that impact applicant progression, decision readiness, deposit status, or matriculation needs.
  • Collaboratewith Recruitment to clarify documentation deficiencies, onboardingrequirements, and next-step guidance to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Inselect circumstances, provide direct outreach to applicants or deposited students to resolve documentation issues, remove operational barriers, or clarify enrollment requirements, while maintaining Recruitment as the primary applicant-facing team.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Provideoperational coverage during peak periods to ensure uninterrupted serviceto applicants, students, staff and faculty.
  • Supportinstitutional initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensurecompliance with all institutional policies and regulatory standards.
  • Performother duties and special projects assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sdegree required.
  • 2–4years of experience in admissions, enrollment operations, studentservices, or related field.
  • Experiencesupporting international populations preferred.
  • Experienceusing Salesforce or comparable CRM systems preferred.
  • Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Professionaloffice or hybrid environment with frequent use of digital systems.
  • Abilityto maintain focus and accuracy in a high-volume admissions setting.
  • Hours & Travel
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (dependent on time zone).
  • Flexibilityrequired during peak international admissions cycles.
