Role
This role is for a 0.6FTE position as a research trainee to work on an EU funded HORIZON project for 7 months beginning December 2026. This role is a hybrid role, you will be required to attend the York Campus for regular meetings.
The project focused on developing a blended (on-line and in-person) approach to supporting young people’s mental health and the specific focus for this role would be school age (KS2-KS4) pupils. The role includes writing literature reviews and contributing to wider project outcomes.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

Undergraduate degree in education or relevant experience

The right candidate will be able to work proactively both as part of a team and independently

Excellent time management and organisation skills are essential

PhD in social sciences is desirable

Experience working in schools and with young people is essential

Experience in qualitative methods and writing systematic literature reviews is essential

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential

A car driver is desirable
