York Sport are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and determined team player to join us as a Duty Manager to contribute to the ongoing success of York Sport and to make a positive difference for all our customers. York Sport operates facilities on both the University of York’s West and East Campus' with a mission to inspire everyone to embrace active lifestyles, exercise and take part in sport and to offer the widest range of first‑class sport, health and fitness facilities, services and programmes in the city.
The post holder will assist the management team across both York Sport sites in the implementation and delivery of business, health & safety and customer‑dictated policies to the highest standards of operational efficiency. Management, supervision and coordination of staff and proven experience of delivering and coordinating staff training will be essential.
Key Requirements- Current First Aid Qualification
- National Pool Plant Operators Qualification
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Previous experience of working in multi‑functional sports / leisure facility with a swimming pool
The hours of work are 37 per week, this will include a combination of early, late and weekend shifts. The salary range is £30,849.36 per year.
