If you're a creative and tech-savvy individual with the ability to design and build digital learning experiences, we want to hear from you! The University of York is looking for a talented Digital Learning Specialist to join our People & Organisational Development (POD) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role, responsible for creating high-quality, engaging and impactful digital learning interventions for staff across the University of York, supporting our most ambitious projects, including a major HR & Finance Transformation programme.
In this dynamic and varied role, you'll be a vital part of a collaborative team, working with HR colleagues and seeing your work have a tangible impact. You'll be part of a supportive team and get to contribute to a broad portfolio of projects, including:
- Transformation Support: Producing highly targeted, digital content to facilitate the successful implementation of our ambitious HR & Finance Transformation Programme (including the adoption of the new Workday system).
- Shaping the future of our workforce: Developing engaging digital materials to support the POD team's core programme of staff development activities (e.g. leadership, management and professional skills training).
This is a fixed term post for 18 months.
Requirements:
- Has advanced digital creation skills combined with a practical understanding of learning design.
- Can provide expert guidance and technical support on digital learning best practice to colleagues.
- Can digitise and enhance existing learning materials.
- Enjoys working flexibly and collaboratively across a diverse range of programmes and projects.
- Can support the overall digital capability of staff across the University.
