Women’s League Head Coach - Worcester Wolves Wheelchair Basketball

Worcester Wolves is seeking an enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our Women’s League wheelchair basketball team and play a key role in developing the next generation of Worcester Wolves athletes.

Working with emerging and developing players, you will have the opportunity to create a positive, inclusive and enjoyable environment where athletes can build confidence, develop their game and gain meaningful competitive experience.

As Women’s League Head Coach, you will lead the coaching and delivery of the team across training sessions and league competition weekends, working closely with the wider Worcester Wolves coaching team to ensure a consistent approach to player development and progression.

You will provide technical and tactical coaching, support individual player development and contribute to player selection and talent identification. Working collaboratively with the Women’s Premier League Head Coach, you will help ensure coaching philosophy, playing style and athlete development remain aligned across both teams, creating a clear pathway for players with the potential to progress into the Women’s Premier League environment.

A key part of the role will be creating opportunities for athletes to develop through training and competition, providing constructive feedback and encouraging players to reflect, learn and continuously improve.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a developing team while contributing to the wider growth of Worcester Wolves Wheelchair Basketball and helping to shape the future pathway for women’s wheelchair basketball in Worcester.

This is an hourly paid, Band 6 appointment, with a total contract allocation of 60 hours across the competitive season.
