The University of Worcester is seeking an exceptional University Secretary to lead on all legal, governance and regulatory matters.

As a key adviser to the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, the University Executive Board, and the Board of Governors, you will bring expert judgement, clarity, and assurance across the full breadth of legal and compliance issues. You will lead the University’s legal services, oversee statutory and regulatory compliance, support robust governance, and ensure effective risk management and business continuity.

With a strong legal or governance background, you’ll have a good understanding of higher education policy and the statutory/regulatory frameworks affecting universities. You will bring sound judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to offer clear, pragmatic advice in a complex environment.
