We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Technical Instructor (Adult Nursing) to join our Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician Team on a fixed‑term maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for newly qualified or experienced nurses looking to transition into an educational environment. You will play a key role in the delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based teaching, maintenance of high‑quality simulation equipment, and support of learners as they develop essential clinical competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate clinical skills teaching and simulation-based activities across undergraduate and postgraduate health and social care programmes.
- Provide high-quality technical and instructional support to academic colleagues and learners.
- Demonstrate, prepare, and maintain specialist clinical and simulation equipment, ensuring it is safe and fully operational.
- Support learners to build confidence and competence for real-world clinical practice.
- Work collaboratively with academic staff and fellow technicians to deliver engaging, effective learning experiences.
- Contribute to skills teaching and technical support across Worcester and Dudley campuses as required.
