Worcester Business School is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance to join our expanding Department of Management & Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative teaching and curriculum development in a vibrant academic environment.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:
- Financial accounting and reporting
- International Banking and Investment
- Taxation
- Management Accounting
You’ll play a key role in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supporting student success, and enhancing the School’s profile.
What we’re looking for:
- Contemporary subject knowledge and professional experience in Accounting and Finance
- Experience teaching in UK higher education or developing professionals in a UK context
- Strong communication skills and a student-centred approach to learning
- Proficiency in ICT and its application to teaching and learning
What's in it for you:
- Annual incremental increase for Lecturer up to £43,482, with the opportunity to progress to £47,389 and for Senior Lecturer £56,535, with the opportunity to progress to £61,759 subject to performance and the university reward scheme

Please note that if not already an employee of the University of Worcester, the appointed candidate will be employed through our subsidiary company Uniworc Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Worcester. Appointees of Uniworc Limited will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva FlexHE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria).
