Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Inclusion and Education (Teaching or SAC) in Worcester

Do you have commitment and passion for teaching others about inclusion? Do you have an interest and experience in the topics of Neurodiversity, Psychology in Education and/or Mental Health and Wellbeing? If so, this opportunity to work at the University of Worcester may be for you.

We are looking for an inspirational and dedicated lecturer/senior lecturer to work in the Institute of Education as part of our team, teaching on undergraduate education courses and possibly post-graduate (MA in Education), if appropriate. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching or training others in the areas of inclusion, neurodiversity, psychology in education and mental health and wellbeing. This may be in another HE institution or as part of a professional role.

The successful candidate will contribute to subject and module leadership, course development and teaching in their specialist area, on our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Colleagues whose educational experience and teaching may incorporate a specialism in working with teaching assistants, SEND, early years and/or family support are encouraged to apply. Part time and Full-time positions are available.

Shortlisted candidates:

Shortlisted candidates invited to interview will be required to give a 15-minute presentation in the form of a mini-teach to members of staff from the Institute of Education, followed by an opportunity for them to ask questions.

Presentation: Deliver a 15-minute taught session on a current issue in Inclusion/Neurodiversity or Mental Health/Wellbeing Education. This should be aimed at Level 5 undergraduate students.
