Science is a well-established subject in our PGCE Secondary portfolio, this is an exciting opportunity for a subject specialist to join our team as an Associate Lecturer. In this context, the School of Education is seeking to appoint an inspirational and excellent Science specialist. The successful applicant will have responsibility for contributing to teaching on the PGCE Science Programme and carrying out visits to students in their placement settings.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a formal panel interview. You will also be asked to deliver a 10-minute presentation based on the following question; ‘What makes inclusive learning and teaching in Science at Key Stage 3?’ The presentation will be followed by questions from the panel. NB. If you are successful at interview, you will be invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and we will contact you if suitable work becomes available. We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to student numbers. The number of hours available might only be a few hours per week.
