Associate Lecturer in Medical Pharmacology
This post is essential to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of core medical/healthcare curriculum content and compliance with the General Medical Council (GMC) in Pharmacology and Prescribing.
This is particularly essential for the training of medical students who require a high level of knowledge in medical pharmacology and prescribing to pass the medical licensing assessment (MLA) and prescribing safely assessment (PSA) as required by the General Medical Council (GMC).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the interim delivery of the Medical Pharmacology and Prescribing on the MBCh B and MSc PA courses.
You will be responsible for designing and developing learning materials and will make a significant contribution to lectures, practical teaching and the assessment for medical students, as well as contributing to the delivery of a high-quality student experience, working with the Phase Lead.
Ideally you will already have experience of teaching medical students or similar.
Please note that if not already an employee of the University of Worcester, the appointed candidate will be employed through our subsidiary company Uniworc Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Worcester.
Appointees of Uniworc Limited will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva Flex HE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria) .
Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route.
We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post who will require sponsorship to work in the UK.
