The Facilities Department covers a wide range of services within the University of Worcester including; conferences, reception, catering, accommodation, estates, maintenance and campus services. As a Student Receptionist, this post will be mainly based across the 5 front of house areas; St Johns Reception, Charles Hastings Reception, Jenny Lind Reception, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Reception and at the University Arena reception when staffing levels dictate between the times spanning from 07:30 to 22:00 depending on needs.
The Reception Team forms part of the hospitality team within Facilities and plays a key role within the University of Worcester and is the first point of contact for students, potential students, conference delegates and visitors, either by telephone or in person. The role will suit a student at the University of Worcester who wishes to develop skills in customer care, event organisation, administration, communication and team working.
The successful applicant will have experience of operating in a customer care environment, liaising with customers face to face or on the phone and will have clerical and/or administrative skills. You will provide a courteous, professional and helpful welcome and assist with answering a wide range of enquiries.
Please note this is a student pool position and the role is part-time, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Exact hours and days to be agreed.
