Library Services are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Research Librarian to join our research support team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the University’s research community, enhancing scholarly communication, and leading the development of open research services.
You will work closely with academic staff, researchers, and professional services to provide expert advice on research support, copyright, rights retention, and open access. You will also lead the development of researcher skills training, manage the institutional repository (WRaP), and contribute to the strategic direction of research services.
You will be an enthusiastic and forward-thinking professional with a strong understanding of scholarly communication, open access, copyright and research support. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a commitment to professional development.

Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.

Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post who will require sponsorship to work in the UK.
Please note that if not already an employee of the University of Worcester, the appointed candidate will be employed through our subsidiary company Uniworc Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Worcester. Appointees of Uniworc Limited will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva FlexHE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria).
