The University of Worcester is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Education Facilitators to join our innovative School of Nursing and Midwifery. As part of a committed team of Practice Education Facilitators, you will work collaboratively to deliver exceptional support and guidance, ensuring consistency and excellence in practice education across the region. About the Role
As a Practice Education Facilitator, you will act as a key liaison between the University, students, and practice partners. You will:
- Maintain regular communication with practice assessors, supervisors, academic assessors, students and apprentices.
- Monitor placement quality and support audits to ensure compliance with NMC standards.
- Assist in onboarding new placements to expand capacity.
- Support students and apprentices in linking theory to practice, identifying learning opportunities, and preparing for placements.
- Provide timely and empathetic support during placements and contribute feedback to course teams.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training for practice assessors and supervisors.
- Act as a personal academic tutor and academic assessor.
- Undertake Individual Learner Progress Reviews (apprentices) and ensure accurate completion of documentation in line with apprenticeship compliance requirements.
This role requires flexibility, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekend work, as well as travel to placement sites.
About You
You will be a Registered Nurse with:
- A degree or diploma in Nursing and current NMC registration.
- Experience supporting students in clinical settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of NMC Standards for student supervision and assessment (SSSA).
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with competence in digital tools.
- Ability to build effective relationships and manage sensitive issues with discretion.
- Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
A postgraduate qualification and Fellowship of Advance HE are desirable.

Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route.
