The College of Health and Science draws together a wide range of healthcare disciplines, including Nursing, Midwifery, Social Care, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Physician Associate, and Diagnostic Radiography.

The Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician will work within a team and be responsible for the daily organisation and technical support of the Clinical Simulation and Skills Centres, specifically, setting up rooms and equipment for sessions, maintaining equipment and assisting in the delivery, evaluation, monitoring and quality control of teaching and learning provision. The role holder will be part of a team that provides a highly efficient technician support service to internal and external stakeholders by ensuring that equipment and resources are appropriately utilised, prepared, organised and maintained within relevant skills and simulation areas.

The Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician will prepare and facilitate equipment requests, provide support in the appropriate use of equipment, assist in the preparation of teaching and learning materials and ensure compliance with relevant processes and procedures across the various sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Clinical Skills and Simulation Technician Team, with significant development and growth unfolding in the area of health and wellbeing. The University is expanding its facilities and sites, with the continued development of our new Health and Wellbeing Severn Campus, including our newly opened Dukes Building. We also provide clinical skills technician support for the healthcare courses in Dudley.

This role will be full-time, with a flexi-time scheme in operation.

Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post who will require sponsorship to work in the UK.
