We are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to join the University of Worcester, School of Law as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Law. We aim to ensure that our students are offered an outstanding student experience, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that they are able to contribute to this aspiration in a very practical, flexible and dynamic way.
Our vision is to deliver high quality law degrees with excellent and innovative teaching and outstanding student satisfaction. Our Law programmes are all designed to produce employable, successful, commercially aware graduates who make a meaningful contribution to society. The successful applicant will form part of a small, enthusiastic and motivated team delivering the LLB and LLM Programmes at the School of Law.
Applicants are expected to be able to contribute to two or more of the following modules:
- Equity and Trusts
- Land Law
- Wills and Estates
- Company Law
- Commercial Law
- Cyber/AI/Technology Law
Applicants may be expected to contribute to teaching in other areas of the curriculum and will also be expected to fully engage with admissions and outreach activities, which will involve evening and weekend working from time to time. The School of Law has an outstanding employability programme and preference will be given to applicants who are able to contribute to and develop our existing employability activities.
Appointment as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will require the post holder to engage in research activities.
