The Faculty Professional Services team provides high-quality professional support to students and staff across the University. The overall purpose of this role is to deliver administrative support for staff and students, service courses/programmes, committees, meetings, and events, maintaining the University's commitment to excellent customer service. This position is fixed-term until July 2024.
Applicants should have A-level standard education or equivalent, with proven office and administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Effective communication with staff, students, and external stakeholders is essential.
Knowledge of SITS, e:Vision, or similar student management systems is required, along with experience handling confidential information discreetly, and skills in planning, organising, and minute-taking. Experience in UK Higher Education is desirable.
Personal qualities include a proactive and professional attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, accuracy, and the capacity to work under pressure. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team, with flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel between campuses if needed.
