The University of Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join its Legal Services team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a modern, ambitious university, advising on major commercial projects that support education, research and innovation. No two days are the same, with work spanning strategic partnerships, technology, procurement, intellectual property and complex commercial agreements.
You'll be advising on:
- Commercial contracts
- Partnership and franchise arrangements
- Research collaborations
- Grant funding agreements
- IT and technology contracts
- Data sharing agreements
- Procurement and contractual risk
A key part of the role will involve supporting partnership and franchise arrangements with NHS organisations, colleges and private sector providers, helping to develop innovative educational partnerships while protecting the University's commercial interests.
