As Venue Coordinator, you will be split across two campuses: City Campus (Wolverhampton) and Walsall Campus, to support the operation of our commercial outlets, city bar, city coffee shop and Walsall bar/coffee shop.
You will be responsible for supervising Bar Staff (student staff) to deliver high-quality customer service. This will include supporting, leading, and training student staff by identifying areas for development and overseeing mandatory training.
You will oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to food-handling and hygiene regulations, use of standardised recipes (full training will be provided), and the maintenance of consistent quality.
Working collaboratively with our Events Assistant (student staff), you will also create, develop, and manage a varied calendar of events to drive engagement, footfall, and income.
