Student Voice Coordinator (Communities) in Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Full-Time No working from home possible
University of Wolverhampton Students' Union

Our student communities are growing and we want you to help shape what's next!

At Wolverhampton Students' Union, we believe every student should have the chance to find their people, discover new opportunities and feel like they belong. We're looking for a Student Voice Coordinator (Communities) to join our ambitious Student Voice team and help make that happen.

As our Student Voice Coordinator (Communities), you'll work with students every day to help turn ideas into thriving communities. You'll be there from the first spark of an idea through to busy events, successful student groups and volunteering projects that make a real difference. You'll coach and support student leaders, encourage new ideas and help students develop the confidence and skills to build communities that last.

Over the next year, one of our biggest priorities is developing stronger academic communities. We want every student to feel connected not only to the Students' Union, but to the people they learn alongside every day. You'll play a leading role in making that vision a reality, working with students and colleagues across the University to create opportunities for students to connect on their course, develop a stronger sense of belonging and ensure those communities have a voice in shaping the student experience.

Alongside this, you'll lead our volunteering programme, building partnerships with local organisations and helping students turn the issues they care about into positive action. Whether students want to make friends, develop their leadership skills, improve their employability or make a difference in the local community, you'll help create opportunities that allow them to do exactly that.

You'll be joining a lively, supportive and ambitious Student Voice team that believes students should be trusted to shape their own university experience. We're always looking for better ways of working, we're not afraid to try something new and we genuinely enjoy seeing students succeed. You'll have the freedom to bring your own ideas, the support to develop them and the opportunity to make a visible impact on the lives of thousands of students.

Join us and help shape the next chapter of student communities at Wolverhampton Students' Union, creating opportunities for thousands of students to connect, belong and make their university experience their own.

If you'd like to find out more about the role or have an informal chat before applying, please email Nat at natalia.falacinska@wlv.ac.uk.
