The Students' Union is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Venues Co-ordinator to support the management of our dynamic student spaces across the Walsall and City Campuses.
As an Assistant Venues Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our venues deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences for our student community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, events, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Support, lead and train a team of Team Leaders and bar staff to deliver excellent customer service, working closely with the Venues Manager.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to standardised recipes and presentation.
- Event Management: Plan, coordinate and deliver a diverse calendar of events aimed at engaging and connecting students.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider Students' Union and university staff to support student needs and improve venue operations.
- Campus Flexibility: While primarily based at our Walsall Campus, you’ll also contribute to events and operations at our City Campus as needed.
