Fall 2025 Openings! Residential Dining RESTOR Staff
Starting pay $11.00-$11.50/hour based on experience and skills.
Would you like a job conveniently located on campus? Working alongside a great team of students for short 4–5-hour shifts? If yes, then the UWM Restor is the perfect place for you! Training could start as early as a week before the start of Fall 2025 semester.
THERE ARE NO SUMMER HOURS AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION.
MUST HAVE:
- PRIOR RETAIL AND/OR FOOD & BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE. If you DO NOT meet this requirement, you WILL NOT be contacted for an interview.
REQUIRED: Please include a resume and your class schedule with your application.
Requirements:
- A UWM student currently enrolled in classes.
- Willing to learn new information and skills.
- Available to work weekend shifts (4-hours) (this is required).
- Available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.
- Available to work afternoon and closing shifts.
- Responsible and reliable.
- Able to work quickly, accurately, and maintain a pleasant disposition.
- Able to repeatedly lift 40 lbs.
- Able to stand continuously for a minimum of 4 hours.
Our Restors are located in Sandburg and Cambridge residence halls and are UWM’s equivalent to a convenience store. Restor employees are expected to perform all duties as assigned by the supervisor, provide excellent customer service, and be willing to ask for assistance when needed.
What you will gain:
- Retail inventory skills.
Daily duties:
- Assist with food preparation including bakery and grab and go items.
- Monitor heating and cooling units to ensure proper holding temperatures.
- Adhere to retail and food service sanitation and safety standards.
- Replenish snack shelves as needed.
- Clean, stock, and organize store products.
- Maintain beverage station dispensers and refill as necessary.
- Stock necessary items using FIFO (First-in First-out) stocking procedures.
