An exciting opportunity has arisen for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (dependant on experience), to join our friendly, forward-thinking and dynamic team delivering our established and contemporary BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Program at The University of Winchester. We strive to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences that equip our students to work effectively within the current and future health and care system.
We are looking for an experienced clinician with the skills and passion to develop our students’ ability to deliver effective physiotherapy for patients with cardiovascular and respiratory needs within various settings (acute, community, primary care and preventative medicine). The post holder will need to be a registered physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and ideally a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
The post holder will have expertise in contemporary cardiorespiratory physiotherapy practice and the ability to contribute to learning and teaching and provision of support to learners across the programme. The successful candidate will be expected to have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards accreditation/qualification. There will be opportunities for interprofessional teaching and learning including through simulation with our experienced teams and simulated learning facilities and equipment.
The successful candidate will be flexible and be able to support the programme and wider department including a willingness to contribute to programme development and to research and knowledge exchange activities.
Permanent position or secondment working arrangements will be considered (dependant on agreement with substantive employer). Please specify in your supporting statement if you are applying for a secondment.
