The University of Winchester is seeking a skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Estates and Facilities team, supporting the maintenance and development of a vibrant university campus. This is a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of our built environment.

The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of routine and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple trade areas, applying practical skills and following established procedures, guidance and safe systems of work. The role includes supporting fire safety compliance through the completion of activities such as fire stopping and minor fire door repairs and assisting with the installation and upkeep of white goods, fixtures, fittings, signage, and equipment.

Working across a diverse estate of academic buildings, student accommodation, and heritage properties, you will contribute to both reactive and planned maintenance, as well as small-scale refurbishment projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering high standards in a collaborative and customer-focused setting.

As the University of Winchester estate is multi-site and multi-level, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be physically capable to undertake practical manual duties which will include heavy lifting and also detailed tasks.
