About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Chef to help deliver outstanding food and service to a diverse range of customers. You\’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team and contributing to the planning and preparation of high-quality meals for a wide range of events — from everyday service to high-profile or complex events or conferences including Open Days and student arrivals/departure weekends.
Our ideal candidate will bring both culinary expertise and a can-do attitude. You will:
- Hold a chef qualification (706/1 and 2 or NVQ Level 2), or have equivalent professional experience
- Have previous experience of involvement in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
- Be comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Be flexible and ready to work evenings and weekends when needed (with time off during the week in return)
What we Offer:
This is a 5 in 7-day contract, including weekends and evenings, based on business needs. You’ll report to the 2nd Chef/Head Chef and play an essential role in maintaining high standards across all service points.
