The predicted salary is between 40000 - 46000 £ per year.

26 weeks paid parental leave after one year and 36 weeks after five years continuous service, regardless of gender.

4 weeks annual leave with the option to purchase more.

About the area: The School of Molecular Sciences at The University of Western Australia is a hub for research and education in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and related fields. About the opportunity:

  • Provide plant growth, culture, and genetics services in a controlled-environment facility.
  • Support research activities by maintaining equipment and supplies and ensuring compliance with the OGTR regulations.
  • Assist in training users and coordinating facility bookings and operations.

About you:

  • Certificate in Laboratory Techniques, Horticulture, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Experience in plant growth and controlled environment facilities.
  • Knowledge of OGTR regulations and experience managing compliant facilities.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Special Requirements: Occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required.
