About the area
The Finance Division supports the University’s financial stewardship through strategic advice, financial management frameworks, procurement, and oversight of investment and endowment portfolios. Operating through three core pillars—Financial Compliance, Financial Performance, and Procurement—Finance provides services across the University, from executive strategy to student support.
About the opportunity
- Provide high-level financial support and policy advice to University business units.
- Lead process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and coach a team delivering financial transactions and services.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level in financial management
- Demonstrated significant knowledge and understanding of financial accounting practices, policies, procedures, systems and administration
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
- Ability to supervise staff and build capability through training and coaching
