The predicted salary is between 80000 - 90000 £ per year.

26 weeks paid parental leave after one year and 36 weeks after five years continuous service, regardless of gender.

4 weeks annual leave with the option to purchase more.

13 weeks long service leave after seven/ten years.

17% superannuation, with the option to reduce to the minimum super guarantee.

Incremental progression based on 12 months continuous service.

Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis until March 2026.

Base salary range: $129,497 – $137,029 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area: The University Library supports learning, teaching, and research through innovative services, resources, and spaces. The Engagement & Experience team focuses on student learning support, inquiry and reference services, IT support, library spaces and facilities, information literacy training, lending, and collection management.

About the opportunity: Actively lead the planning and development of services to help the University Library meet its strategic and operational objectives. Manage and continuously improve inquiry, reference, and student IT support services, as well as library spaces and physical collections. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and lead a team delivering high-quality, student-focused library services.

About you: Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency; a qualification in library and information studies is desirable. Substantial management experience in an academic library. Demonstrated knowledge of innovative and client-focused library and information services. Demonstrated knowledge of learning support for students including information literacy skills development programs, reference and inquiry services.

Special Requirements: Occasional travel within the state may be required. Represent the University at meetings, seminars and conferences interstate, and overseas as required.
