The Directorate of Student Success and Progression is part of the UWA Education Portfolio, dedicated to delivering a world‑class student experience. The Directorate oversees critical functions across the student lifecycle, including Admissions, Enrolments, Fees, Scholarships, Timetabling, Student Advising, Exams, and Graduation. Working collaboratively across the University, the Directorate ensures the delivery of integrated, student‑centred services that support academic success, retention, and progression.

About the opportunity:

  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and delivery of the University’s academic timetable.
  • Drive system improvements, service optimisation, and enhanced student and staff experience.
  • Provide expert advice, governance, and leadership in timetabling policy, process, and stakeholder engagement.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent professional expertise.
  • Extensive experience in the Higher Education sector with demonstrated strategic leadership capability.
  • Strong expertise in scheduling software and complex university systems.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, set priorities, and deliver outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
