The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced tutor to work with our students and support them in the field of Psychology. Units to be taught include: an Introduction to Psychology, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Health Psychology. The successful candidate will do this through engaging sessions focused on developing academic writing, research and skills for study. This will also include writing assignment briefs, assessing and supervision of some students completing an Extended Project, in line with our awarding body\’s guidance.
The Person
You must be a highly motivated and enthusiastic tutor intent on supporting our students in helping them to progress from Further Education to Higher Education. An ability to think on your feet and work well as a team, focused on the wellbeing and welfare of our students is essential, as is a commitment to our values and ethos here at Ruskin.
You must be extremely well-organised with an ability to work to strict deadlines while supporting our students.
