The Role
To support our development objectives in Nutritional Therapy, we are seeking to strengthen our academic team with a candidate who has suitable qualifications and experience. We welcome applications from motivated individuals to contribute to research, enterprise and external engagement, as well as student support and course and curriculum development and delivery. We are particularly interested in individuals with clinical practice and up-to-date knowledge in Nutritional Therapy. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and deliver taught modules on our undergraduate Nutritional Therapy course, supervise undergraduate dissertations, strengthen our research and enterprise profile by securing funding for projects, and disseminate findings through presentations and publications. The exact mix of duties will be determined in line with the course’s needs.
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) permanent position.
The Person
We seek a suitably qualified and experienced candidate who is a registered practicing Nutritional Therapist with clinical practice experience. Candidates should have HEA Fellowship (or be willing to undertake within 6 months of employment), be a member of BANT and registered with CNHC. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach on undergraduate Nutritional Therapy provision, work with a diverse range of learners, provide individualised pastoral support and contribute to teaching and curriculum development.
