Recruiting for Reps from the following school ONLY: LSFMD - London School of Film, Media & Design

Are you someone that wants to make real and tangible changes within your School and for UWL students? As a key member of the Representation team, you will be the lead Student Representative in making this happen. This means that you will be connecting with course reps, students and academic staff in your school or college about the things that they love and the things they would improve. We’ll teach you how to use a community organising approach to representation and you’ll receive training in public speaking, facilitation and many more.

As the key liaison for the school, you will go to meetings with lecturers and university staff and help our Vice-President Education to understand what's important to students in your school and how to make the learning experience the best it can be. This is a great role for somebody who is passionate about delivering change and getting students' voices heard!

We’re very flexible in how you conduct your role, so the exact days and times you will be expected to work will be dependent on your timetable. We typically expect that someone in this role will work 5 hours per week. This role will be term-time only, so the right person should be available for work until the end of May 2027.

If everything above sounds good to you, we’d love to receive your application. Please do include your CV and Cover letter on the application.

You can contact Jess at [email protected] if you have any questions about this role. For more information about the SU or specific questions about the application process please contact [email protected]

UWL students come from a diverse range of backgrounds, as an employer we are committed to ensuring that our workforce are reflective of the members we serve.
