Are you passionate about supporting, advocating, and enhancing students' academic achievements. We have the perfect role for those that are looking to work with one of the country's best Students' Union's as our Advice Service Manager.
This is a truly rewarding role that is suitable for those who can bring expertise, insight and leadership to the position and for those looking to be part of a diverse, highly engaged organisation as it embarks on a new strategy.
The Advice Service Manager is a pivotal role within our management team that oversees our confidential and supportive advice service to students. This role combines operational and strategic thinking - we're looking for someone who can immerse themselves into day-to-day activities of the Students' Union, in addition to bringing and creating new perspectives for our strategic and advocacy work. As this role is responsible for a team of up to 4 support staff and 10 student staff members, we are keen for applicants to demonstrate a mentorship approach and great leadership skills.
Underpinning all of this, we are looking for someone who is caring at heart, driven by impact, and has an underlying knowledge of the challenges that students face at University, and in their lives.
