Base pay range
This range is provided by University of Warwick. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience β talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Work Location
- Please note that due to the nature of this role and business operation requirements, the successful applicant will be required to work the majority of their time on campus.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to set and check meeting spaces are ready for customers in line with the booking system and function sheets.
- Ensure all equipment (including audio-visual) is in full working order and service the meeting spaces during the evening and overnight to maintain high standards.
- Set up audio-visual and IT equipment according to customer requirements, troubleshoot technical difficulties, and arrange rooms to meet specific needs.
- Handle radio calls, customer requests and telephone enquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organisation of meeting spaces, storerooms and general tidiness.
- Utilise company vehicles for deliveries and equipment transportation; assist with building security and closure procedures.
- Flexibility to work any 5 days in 7, predominately evenings and overnight, with shifts at various timings depending on business needs.
About You / Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using PCs and various applications; willingness to stay updated on technical advances.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Desirable: knowledge of audio-visual equipment and a full UK driving licence; if not, willingness to learn essential.
- Essential: willingness to work on campus and meet the role requirements.
