As the University of Warwick’s largest department, WMG was founded in 1980 by the late Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya with a mission to transform UK manufacturing through innovation and skills. It now employs around 800 staff and is a world-leading research and education group.
The Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) is seeking a Professor with a strong passion for engineering education research. In this role, you will lead and expand a portfolio of collaborative research and teaching initiatives aimed at positioning WMG as a leading centre for engineering education research. The post holder will work closely with WMG’s existing academic and industrial partners and will also be expected to cultivate new strategic collaborations.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in engineering education research grounded in real-world, industry-relevant practice. You will bring an internationally recognised research profile, evidenced by high-impact publications, and a forward-looking vision to shape innovative research, teaching, and knowledge-transfer activities in engineering education.
